Pencil Drawing New Competition No.20 || Ball Exercise

Greetings,

It's a great pleasure to join this drawing competition. I bought a charcoal pencil inorder inorder to add depths on my drawing and to learn the use of charcoal pencil.

As usual I used drawing paper, mechanical pencil, eraser, and my newly bought charcoal pencil. I drew this image because I injured my middle finger during basketball and recently I rehabilitate it and exercise by palming the ball.

I took a picture on on my hand palming the ball and did the sketching using my mechanical pencil. I drew first the basketball and then followed by hand.

Then I used the charcoal pencil like a normal pencil and redraw it. Then I filled the outer part of my drawing by holding the sides of the charcoal pencil.

I used cotton buds to scatter the shadows, made the basketball spikes and use my eraser for the lights and tone. Using charcoal pencil makes dark drawing easy and clearer compared to normal pencil. I'm excited on another drawing using the charcoal pencil.
