Hello, dear Steemians and Art Fans!
Today I am sharing with You one of the paintings I've created in 2021.
Above and Beyond Sri Yantra, acrylic on canvas, 40x40 cm.
This painting was a commissioned artwork for my dear yogic friend.
She wanted a Sri Yantra symbol-based painting with some deep purple tones dominating. The purpose of this painting is to meditate on it, to expand consciousness, and deepen the insights.
I really love how this painting turned out to look as it was really difficult to get the nice color blend of background colors and it was really demanding and slow process of painting the Sri Yantra symbol.
If you wonder what a Sri Yantra is you can search it up on the internet, but basically it is a form of mystical symbol/diagram that is given to humans in order to help in the meditation process.
I love how this painting looks different from a different angle of watching and with a different place of a light source. It makes this painting look even more mystical.
