How beautiful is the old Nessebar without the crowds of tourists in the summer. One can truly relax amidst its incredible atmosphere and historical monuments, disturbed only by seagulls and the distant sound of the surf under the steep shores of the island, now turned into a peninsula.

There are many options for getting around the beautiful seaside town, and of course it would be most convenient with a private car. The newly built highway to Burgas makes traveling by car a pleasure. The roads are well maintained. During the summer season, traffic jams are possible during the peak hours of the day.

In addition, it can be reached with the help of buses that connect the city with most major cities in the country. Bus transport in the area is highly developed. By bus you can reach any point in Bulgaria or arrive from there. Regular city buses serve Nessebar and connect it with Sunny Beach, Ravda and Vlas. The journey between Burgas and Nessebar can also be made by water.

Nessebar does not have a railway station. The nearest one is located in Burgas, about 40 km away. Regular buses connect Burgas Railway Station with Nessebar.

The seaside town can also be reached by air transport. Burgas Airport is located about 30 km away, with immediate transport to Nessebar and the surrounding area.
As one of the most visited resorts on our Black Sea coast, Nessebar is connected by bus lines to many cities. Buses usually stop at the so-called Pharmacy stop.

In Nessebar, tourists can enjoy many attractions and visit the numerous establishments in the city. Every year in Nessebar, the International Children's and Youth Competition "Sun and Joy" takes place. The organizers of the competition are the Municipality of Nessebar and the Municipal Children's Complex - Nessebar under the patronage of the Ministry of Education and Science.

The competition contributes to the manifestation of the talent of the participants, to increase their performance skills. The aim of the organizers is to contribute to the development of children's creativity by communicating between the leaders and the children from the different groups, enriching their repertoire with classical and contemporary works.
