The World of XPILAR - CITYSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY AND ART CONTEST WEEK #115 ~ On the waterfront
This is my entry for cityscape photography and art contest week hosted by @axeman.
This golden hour gives a special effect when night falls and yellow lights illuminate the city. In the distance you can see the fortress and on the coast a gas station that has been restored and opposite it a hotel that is also restored and has a golden facade.
The sunset on the waterfront in the center of Šibenik is always spectacular regardless of the weather. This building on the right is a bus station, it is very nice to get to a city by bus when the station is only a few meters from the sea.
So in a short drive and passing through the city you can feel and experience life on the coast, which in the evening turns into a large promenade, especially in the summer season when large yachts and sailboats are moored.
While in winter only fishing and passenger boats are moored.
There is a view of the bay and the canal of St. Anthony.

I agree, the view is really spectacular, I am sure the places to waterfront might be occupied in summer, when people love to observe the sunset :)
There are many cafes and restaurants on the waterfront that are well filled in the summer at sunset is certainly the most frequented area in the city.
Interesting view but for safety reasons, a hotel shouldn't be too close to a gas station.
As you can see, this is not a problem in my country, because if there were any legal regulations to remove that gas station, hotel owners would probably be able to do it. They struggled for a long time to remove it but failed.
