For my first nomination I want to nominate World Of Xpilar

I keep saying the key to success of these sites is contests. This in where cryptocurrency social media sites can really stand out as they have the mechanism to run contests and do not have to delay in giving out payments to the winners. This can lead to a site with lots of contests open for people with different interests and fun way to post while earning for your work. You can have contests that range from photography to writing and everything in-between and there is no limit to how many users you can attract by running these contests weekly.

World Of Xpilar is doing just that with their community. There is always multiple contests on there for you to join in and they are open to everyone no matter how new to the site you are. This is great as it gives people a starting point when they do not know what to blog about or how to interact with the community.

Photography

World of Xpilar runs a lot of photography contests and I have seen some high quality pieces get entered. For example look at the winners of the landscape contests and tell me there are not some professionals sharing their work. Besides the landscape contest there is one for Black and White photography and portrait photography. If you are good with a camera this is your place to enter these contests and try to win some steem for your art.

Writing

There is a contest running where a digital art is shared with the community and then the community has to make a story based on that art. I should be entering these myself. This gives writers a place to start as they contemplate what story could be created from the still.

Guess The Sound

There is also a contest running where you need to guess the mystery sound and win steem. This is a fun guessing game where you do not need to be an artist of any kind to enter, though have a good ear could give you an edge over the competition.

Others

There are other contests as well relating to travel and life. Going through the main page of the community you can see all the contests that are running pinned to the top of the page and if you scroll you should find one, if not several, that fit your area of expertise. And if not come back as new contests are put up.

For my second nomination I want to nominate Project Hope

I also want to through in a nod for Project Hope as they have been around and worked to keep their community going through the tough times on steemit with the bear market kicking all our asses. They continued to make content and keep striving for quality content on days it was easy to throw in the towel. I know cause even I take a lot of breaks when the market is all red and it is discouraging to work when the money isn't there.
