Cooking my son's favorite dish | Pork Nuggets and Eggplant Fries | 15% to @steemwomensclub

Hello beautiful girls here in SteemWomen Club Community.

I just want to share with you today on how I cook my son's favorite dish, Pork Nuggets and Eggplant Fries. Actually, all my kids love it but my second child loves it the most. He's always requesting for this. So everytime we have pork I also make nuggets for him. So here how it goes.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 kilo pork meat (cut in thin)
  • 2 eggplant
  • 1 sachet magic sarap
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 kilo oil for frying

PROCEDURE:

  • Wash and cut the eggplant into strips. And also wash the pork meat.

  • Season the pork meat with magic sarap and salt and mix to distribute the ingredients.

  • Also same process with eggplant. Season it with magic sarap and salt. And mix.

Chill both seasoned pork and eggplant for atleast 30 minutes to 1 hour.

  • While waiting, in a small bowl with 1/4 cup of water put 1 tablespoon of cornstarch. Mix until cornstarch is dissolved. This will be our substitute for the egg in breading.

After 1 hour, time for breading. Let's start with pork first.

  • Coat the pork with cornstarch.
  • Then dip to the cornstarch mixture.
  • Lastly, coat with bread crumbs.

Repeat the process with the remaining pork.

And now let's bread the eggplant.

  • Coat the eggplant with cornstarch.
  • Then dip to the cornstarch mixture.
  • Lastly, coat with bread crumbs.

Repeat the process with the remaining eggplant strips.

Frying time:

  • Heat oil in the pan in a low-medium setting fire. Not to a high setting so that our nuggets will not burn.

  • When heated, let's now put the coated pork. Fry until golden brown.

  • When cooked, transfer it to a clean plate with paper towel to drain the excess oil.

  • For the eggplant, same process with pork. Fry the coated eggplant until golden brown.

My pork nuggets and eggplant fries is ready to serve and eat!

And it's more yummy when you dip it with your favorite sauce. Sweet chilli sauce or ketchup. And also soy sauce with lemon and chilli will do.
