Great supernatural series ever despite the fact that it's a spin-off of the Vampires Diaries . The characters were wonderful and great and the poetries are lovely.
The Mikaelson family known as "The Originals" are Nik Klaus, Elijah and Rebecca, who sworn an oath to stand and fight for each other "always and forever."
Giving the fact that vampires can't procreate, the first season shows how Klaus's mystical child will be born, which do not go well for the community of witches because it is for told that she will be their end and so the Originals together have to keep her safe.
The second season describe the return of Klaus and his siblings' parents. Their mother, who begged them to take a mortal body so they can be free from the vampire curse (immortality, the hunger for human blood). Klaus's child was born named Hope which awaking their aunt, who came for the child as part of the deal made by Klaus's mother a long time ago.
In the third season, the Originals faced a new threat, the prophecy speaking of their downfall which will eradicate and bring the existence of vampires to an end. And their first sired (turned) tries to lock them away for eternity to prevent the prophecy from kill them all.
The fourth season shows Hope had grown and giving that her father is a hybrid (both vampire and werewolf) and her grandmother is a witch, as the first born, she will become a witch, vampire and werewolf. Because of her nature, she was possessed by an ancient mystical menace set on destroying anything in it's path.
In the final season of the series, Hope is now a teenager where she attends a school of supernatural children. The Mikaelson still to face "the Hallow" and try to reunite the family again.

I like Vampire Diaries!
You're right! This is really a very cool vampire series. But most of all, I like that in this series, vampires aren't the center of the plot, but werewolves, witches, and hybrids. In fact, the Michaelson family, which first appeared in the Vampire Diaries series, has a great and ancient history. I'm not surprised that the creators of the Vampire Diaries series wanted to make a second series where the main characters are ancient and powerful vampires. I've watched this series twice already and even passed the originals quiz. I remember 90% of the facts from this series from memory. But I often forget the names of minor characters.
