Photobombing with Steem and WhereIn community

Hello my fellow friends and family. We in WhereIn would like to take this opportunity to announce a photobombing event hosted by our very own #wherein-id from Indonesia and #wherein-esp the Spanish community. Before we move forward, we would like to highlight some detail of this event.

Frist of all, let us try to explain what a Photobomb looks like, and why do we come up with this event.

Photobombing is the act of purposely putting oneself into the view of a photograph, often in order to play a practical jokes on the photographer or the subjects.

During this promotion period, we will be looking forward to see more engagement between different communities, different culture, different ethnic and different countries from around the world to participate in this event, and to create engagement. Picture speaks a thousand words, so different communities will be able to checkout other's photobombing work and have a good laugh at it. Here is one from our editor @dailyke20 where he's bombing himself whilst his friend is trying to be cool at the camera.

What am I getting out of this?!

Well, this is not a contest, nor a competition. It's merely an engagement league for all #wherein users. What we can promise is, all of our Spanish and Indonesian curator's influence power has been crank up to the maximum level! Which means, the more curator voted on your post, the bigger vote you'll be getting from #wherein. So, what are you waiting for? Get a stick, prepare a reusable artwork with WHEREIN or STEEM or both on it, go out and photobomb someone! Or you can stage one with your friends and or family.

Rules:

Plagiarism is strictly prohibited. Note that WhereIn App does not allow user to change position of the photo uploaded, therefor you can't attribute to the material, you're not allowed to use any material you found from the internet.
Respect to other cultural, religion, race and also to avoid political involvement
We do not promote actual monetary sabotaging act via photobombing. If you're going to photobomb someone famous, make sure you get their consent before you post, or you could get into trouble and we are not liable for your action. If your photobombing act did pissed someone, we recommend you delete the photo and not to be use online.
Make it as funny as possible. Can be a staged photobomb as long our curator finds it make sense and funny.
If you need to edit the post, use #wherein to edit. You may hit the 3 little dot on the top right corner of your phone screen and edit your post. If you edit with other APP, you may lose the chance of getting upvote by WhereIn official account.
Wordy write up is NOT required as long the photo submitted is funny. But if you write enough, curator may be going to give you a bigger vote. The more curator vote on your post, the higher your post payout is.
Repeated post from the same author are not recommended. If you have old photo previously used in any blogging material, and you want to use it for participation, please provide source.
If you can bring along a signboard with #steem or #wherein and your nickname in that photo you bombed someone else, we believe this can help to promote our communities. Curator could give you a bigger vote.
Post are supposed to be genuinely exclusive for #steem and posted with #wherein app.
Make use of #wherein-id #wherein-esp #photobomb tags, make sure they're the first 3 tags in your post so you can attract our curators from the two communities.
There's no restriction to the number of entries from users, but we recommend once a day because #wherein will only make one upvote per user per day, so make sure you get that one post to the maximum exposure, after make post with #wherein, use steemit to resteem it to your feed.

Promotion period SHOULD be starting from March 19, 2021 Friday until March 28, 2021. However, due to all of our curators for this round of promotion event are from different time zone, it will be very hard for us to decide when do we kick start or cut off the event. So, you can start NOW! We will end this after 28th of the month! Enjoy and happy photobombing!

I don't speak Spanish nor Indonesian language, does it mean I can't join?

Nope! We've mentioned it above, this is a cross country, cross region event. Any of us are encouraged to participate. However, this event is brought to you by our Indonesian and Spanish community, therefore we do not have other curators at this time. You may translate this post for your community, and follow the rules above, chances are you'll also get curate!

I don't have a WhereIn, can I still join

Yes you can still join at your own will, unfortunately WhereIn will not be voting. The curation program is hard coded to vote only for posts by WhereIn App. If you have an android device, please go to http://www.wherein.io and download a copy of the app. At this point, we do not support IOS yet.

Don't tell anyone

We expect this event to stir up some chaos, and hopefully the curator reward by the end of this event is big enough. We may be choosing some of the funniest, most meaningful, most promotional value for #wherein and or #steem, and give a surprise to those participant(s).
