My Actifit Report Card: May 7 2024
We got to spend a couple of hours enjoying a hike up in Flagstaff today which made both Lulu and I very happy 😊.
We completed our morning walk quickly so that we could get driving up to Flagstaff so I made sure to keep Lulu moving along to finish up quicker.
There's still a good amount of snow high up on the mountains just north of Flagstaff nut the sun was out and it was a very mild morning up around 7000 feet elevation.
We would be hiking our usual route up the mesa towards the old Lowell Observatory on top of the hill overlooking the city. The first mile was a steady ( nut not steep) climb but once we turned onto the wide path that curved up the mesa the incline increased significantly and we enjoyed a hard mile climb to our turnaround point.
Lulu paused for a drink and a little exploring around the area before heading back down the road towards the beautiful and very green city park. There were plenty of people enjoying the nice green fields and the small pond had several people fishing.
From there it was an easy flat walk back to the car but, of course, our Flagstaff trip wouldn't be complete without Lulu and her roll in the grass.
