Hace días tuve que salir muy rápido de casa para acompañar a mis abuelos al medico, puesto que a mi abuela recientemente la operaron de un ojo, para remover su catarata y colocar un lente intraocular para mejorar su visión, así que teníamos que visitar al medico para revisar como seguía su ojo.

Recuerdo que me vestí, desayune y me arregle todo en 20 minutos, debido a que mi primo, que es el acompañante de mis abuelos la mayoría del tiempo, no podía ir esta vez, me avisaron ese mismo día, así que literal tuve que correr, para estar lista a la hora que nos buscaran. Gracias a esta salida tan precipitada de casa, caí en cuenta, porque la verdad es que soy muy despistada. Que había salido sin maquillarme, algo poco común antes de la cuarentena. Siempre he sido una chica que antes muerta que mal arreglada jaja.

I remember that I got dressed, had breakfast and got everything ready in 20 minutes, because my cousin, who is my grandparents' companion most of the time, could not go this time, they told me that same day, so I literally had to run, to be ready at the time they were looking for us. Thanks to this hasty departure from home, I realized, because the truth is that I am very absent-minded. That I had gone out without makeup, something uncommon before the forties. I've always been a girl who would rather be dead than badly dressed haha.

Mi Rutina | My Routine

El maquillaje es parte de mi vida(pero me refiero a un maquillaje básico, nada producido) no solo es mis actividades cotidianas, como lo era asistir a la universidad, salir con amigos, dar un paseo en familia, etc, sino que también empecé por primera vez a realizar maquillajes artísticos aquí en la comunidad y es algo que me encanta hacer. Recuerdo que antes no salía de casa sin maquillarme, a menos que hiciera alguna actividad deportiva, si este era el caso, siempre lucía mi piel natural, solo con protector solar.

Makeup is part of my life (but I mean a basic makeup, nothing produced) not only in my daily activities, such as going to college, going out with friends, taking a walk with my family, etc, but I also started for the first time to do artistic makeup here in the community and it is something I love to do. I remember that before I never left home without makeup, unless I was doing some sporting activity, if this was the case, I always looked my natural skin, only with sunscreen.

Yo era una de las chicas que pensaba que si salía sin cubrir mis ojeras con corrector me iba a ver mal y todos lo iban a notar, pensaba que podía parecer un oso panda 🐼 y es por eso que siempre que salía de casa, me hacía un maquillaje básico, para tapar las imperfecciones. Pero luego entendí que nuestras imperfecciones y marcas, son parte de nuestra vida y seguimos siendo nosotros mismos a pesar de tener esos "defectos". Y lo coloco en comillas, porque no somos perfectos, estamos construidos a base de estos detalles y encontrar el amor propio es lo que te permite apreciarte tal y como eres.

I was one of the girls who thought that if I went out without covering my dark circles with concealer I was going to look bad and everyone was going to notice it, I thought I could look like a panda bear 🐼 and that's why whenever I went out of the house, I always did a basic makeup, to cover the imperfections. But then I understood that our imperfections and marks, are part of our life and we are still ourselves despite having those "flaws ". And I put it in quotes, because we are not perfect, we are built based on these details and finding self-love is what allows you to appreciate yourself as you are.
