Of all the heroes of Dota 2 Earthshaker is one of the most loved.
Like a golem or gargoyle, Earthshaker was one with the earth, but now walks freely on it.
Unlike the other entities, he created himself through an act of will, and serves no other teacher. In his restless dream, locked in a deep fissure in the stone, he became aware of the life that freely passed above him and became curious.
During a time of tremors, the Nishai peaks were shaken, causing landslides that changed the course of the rivers and turned the shallow valleys into bottomless chasms.
When the earth finally stopped shaking, Earthshaker emerged from the settling dust, pushing huge rocks aside as if they were a light blanket. He became a mortal beast, and called himself Raigor Stonehoof. Now he bleeds, he breathes and therefore he can die, but his spirit remains that of the earth.
His power lies in the magical totem that he never neglects, and the day he returns to dust, the earth will treat him like a prodigal son.
Actions that Earthshaker develops.
Fissure.
Slams the ground with a mighty totem, creating an impassable ridge of stone while stunning and damaging enemy units along its line.
Enchant Totem.
Empowers Earthshaker's totem, causing it to deal extra damage on the next attack.
Aftershock.
Causes the earth to shake underfoot, adding additional damage and stuns to nearby enemy units when Earthshaker casts his abilities.
