Emergency Update! New Wave for Phishing Going Rounds ! 100% to BOI
Hey guys. Just wanted to provide you guys with a quick update. There has been a new wave of phishing attacks that are spreading in the comment section on several posts. These comments are made using compromised accounts whose reputation levels are already high.
In the above screenshot, you can see that the reputation of the user is 66. This account has already been compromised. If you see such comments on any post, flag it.
We know it could be really very tempting when you see an announcement of free crypto here on Steemit. However, if there are any such opportunities, we(Admins, MODS, Witnesses) would be the first to let you guys know about such opportunities. Unless you hear about such things from official accounts like steemitblog, do not click on the links.
If you do have a doubt if a particular link is legit, you can just tag me in a comment and I would help you in identifying if it is legit or not. This new attack is mainly targeted at high reputation accounts to help lure others into the trap. So, please be careful out there and think twice before you click on any unknown links over here.

I highly appreciate your effort to bring this matter into our notice.we being almost the newcommers are prone to such attacks and i will try to be aware of these things hereafter.
