Read yarn labels and keep crochet diaries

Hello everyone!!
Today I wanted to talk with you about importance of reading yarn labels and keeping them in your crochet diary.
I noticed that sometimes beginners simply ignore yarn labels and throw them to the garbage. However, it is better to keep label and a piece if yarn for your future references. You can also just keep an online crochet diary with a picture of yarn label or keep a journal of projects you make by writing full description of used yarn.

Yarn label says:

• meters
• grams
• color
• hook/ needle size
• washing instructions
• gauge
  When you learn to read label properly, then you can calculate easily for any project the number of yarn needed
