JUST WONDERING...
If you were blacklisted by #hive, can that be reversed? I feel like I have lost all my friends and will have to begin again. I mean, I wasn't included with the airdrop, so I feel cheated by this new platform before I can even get started. I really enjoyed all the stories and pictures while in the steem world and now I am lost.
I never expected this to impact me the way it has. Posting and reading and commenting became my little escape from reality. I learned to appreciate what I have in these virtual friendships, and I want to continue.
Any suggestions? Anyone?

Hey, lovely to see all the support in the comments here. I believe they are appealing some of the blacklists which were down to confusion with voting. It will be wonderful to see you and bigsweed posting over on hive, no matter what, but I believe you have so many vouching for you, you will get the next round of airdrops for the appeals.
Hello @minismallholding, thanks for the encouragement. I have had some trouble trying to post on hive.blog, lost a practically finished post, could not upload any pictures, very frustrating but I am going to try to figure out using peakd, was told that works well. So we will work through it, this is small potatoes compared to this awful virus. I must say though, posting takes my mind off worrying about my family, which is a welcome relief.

All the front ends are having glitches with all the changeovers, but peakd does seem to be working the best. My daughter had the same issues with hive.blog, but got it done on peakd. I usually do my writing up on a word document, then copy paste and load photos so I don't lose work when this story of thing happens.

Hey there @bubke, yup, that is apparently what I did, got a few socks in the mix. I don't know for sure why I made the blacklist, but I did. I should have just not done anything but I caught some of the frantic news about "hostile takeover" and just followed along and voted for a few witnesses that were the wrong ones, apparently. It's funny, in all the time that I have been on steem, I only ever voted for 2 witnesses, but I followed the instuctions in a few posts and used all 30 votes, what a dope right?
oh well. lessons learned.

This is why you didn't get your air-drop. You can post on hive though, that's why I gave you a delegation of 500HP. I think you only need around 15HP or so, however I figured a little more wouldn't go astray. If you're not going to post on hive let me know and I'll delegate to someone who is going to. I think you should just get on with the business of posting on hive and move forward.
You weren't cheated...A ruling was made and unfortunately you got caught up in it. Quite clearly you haven't lost all your friends also,, which you acknowledged in this post when you thanked me for my delegation.
My suggestion is to start posting on hive if you like. If you cannot, ask @balticbadger how he's managed it considering he also was on that blacklist for the same reason. He will help you out. He is a good dude.
Hey good day to you mate, thanks for the pep talk. For some reason when I go to hive.blog all of my pictures fail to upload. I know there are a lot of kinks being worked on now with hive, so I am hoping with time it will work better. I have been really down lately due to this awful virus. I miss my family, as I am sure everyone around the world is also suffering, surely worse than I. I am fortunate to live on big farm, in a small town without a whole bunch of people, we like it this way. We lived in New Jersey all our lives, which is a small state with tons of people. My three sons still live there and my daughter is in neighboring PA. My one son and daughter are frontline medical workers, both hospitals are running short on personal protective equipment, having to re-use masks, gloves and gowns. It's nerve racking. But I am trying to stay busy, cooking, sewing ,cleaning, getting outside to walk and breathe the fresh air.
Anywho, if hive.blog won't work right now, if I post on steemit is that a bad thing to do? I mean I am all in to migrate over to hive, I was even trying to buy hive today on blocktrades, and it didn't work. I am determined to figure it out, I will keep trying. I will try to talk to @balticbadger in the meantime.

Hello! Yes I am happy to help. But I think @galenkp Hs it right just use peakd and everything seems to work out okay. I was totally devistated when I didn’t get the airdrop as well. It should be automatically sorted out on the next hard fork and if you still didn’t get it there will be a way to apply for it (or so they say). Looking forward to seeing you on HIVE!

Ok, how do I login into "peakd" ? what is it exactly? Before I go any further let me apologize for my ignorance, I do appreciate your offer to help, thanks so much.

No worries! I am not that bright when it comes to this stuff either. Just go to peakd.com and login using your normal steemit username and active key. Then they send you to hivesign and I think you have to login there as well can’t remember, but you only have to do it once. Hope that helps!
Use peakd.com I can't load images to hive.blog either. Peakd works fine.
The whole world is feeling this way...It seems to me blogging helps you, or at least in my opinion it would...Peakd will give you an outlet and you can start engaging with other people...I wrote a post about this a while back.

Nothing wrong with using steem...You'll just probably find less interaction here. I rarely comment here now...Just doing so because it's you and you keep saying you can't blog on hive...Which you actually can by logging into peakd which is probably what most use anyway.
