The Solemn celebration of the holy mass || St Stephen of Hungary

In today's gospel a Canaanite woman came to ask Jesus for help in healing her sick daughter.
She comes from a group of people who have been a thorn in the flesh of the Israelites and they are considered undeserving of Gods mercy.
Jesus said to her that it is not right to hive the childrens food to the dogs, this made her realize her unworthiness.
Gods standard is different from that of man and when we offend God no matter the case we are to run to him and not run from him. His mercy and faithfulness are everlasting.
Recognizing this the woman displayed a great leave of faith in God believing that even the dogs can eat from the crumbs that fall from the masters table. I know am unworthy lord but you can show me the least mercy and grant my desire.
The holy mass is our delight we love it more and more, it is where we learn to do the right and live for every more with God in heaven.
This Sunday is the 20th Sunday in ordinary time and also a feast of st Stephen of Hungary.
We had a solemn celebration at Adoration Nuns monastery located in Oyun Kwara state Nigeria.
This monastery houses the nuns who have dedicated their lives to perpetual adoration of Jesus in the blessed sacrament. They live a life of purity and chastity interceeeding for the world the church and other intentions.
