How my holiday went.

Compliments of the season to you dear steemians. It's been a wonderful and fun-filled holiday. I had my sister and her 5 children over for Christmas and though it was stressful, it was fun too.

On Christmas day, we went to church for an hour. We got back and my sister and I spent time cooking lunch for the family. We made the traditional rice and chicken stew and it was delicious. We also made groundnut soup which was to be eaten with Eba later in the day. We all had enough to eat and we were happy.

On the next day which was Boxing Day, we were all home. The children were in their usual play mood and everywhere was lively and buzzing with noise from them playing and having occasional fights between themselves. I loved every moment with them.

This was the routine till the early hours of Saturday, the 29th when they had to go back home. I went along with them to reduce the stress on their mother, my sister and I ended up spending the night with them because I couldn't have enough of them.
