Poultry management practices is a core component of the operational dynamics of growing/developing and profitable poultry production industry.Before success can be recorded in any poultry farm, the major and basic step to be undertaken has to be proper management set up.
The understanding of the principles of health, nutrition and technical management is a pre-requisite to the success of a poultry irrespective of the scale/size. It is fundamentally necessary to ascribe some notable benefits of poultry production to the populace as the business is a lucrative one and asides serve as source of food to man which is a non negotiable primary need.

  1. HEALTH: This is the physical condition or the state of well being of poultry birds. It is quite pertinent to prioritise the state of well being and the health status of poultry as this goes a long way in the success /failure of poultry production. Apart from proper and adequate vaccination of birds, the ability and consciousness to observe deviation in structural norms in poultry can most assuredly serve as an additional achievement towards a successful poultry production.
    Effectively dexterous to notice gross changes in body size, shape and even color of faeces is a plus to this effect.
    2.NUTRITION: A process through which poultry birds feed for body growth/development and maintenance. it is unexpected for nutrition to be undermined as feeding aids for proper growth and development irrespective of the specific feeds needed for specific purpose and results. Adequate nutrition is one of the major inputs necessary for the full expression of the genetic potentials of poultry. The typical poultry diet must contain the essential elements in the right proportion with a view of getting the required results.
    3.Technical management : This actually entails all unforeseen practices that cannot but be addressed. Issues arising from economy policies(cost,proposals,innovations,etc), value chain, technology and managerial practices in general are somewhat essential and Germaine to the subject matter.
