I am in the mountains of western Montana on a permaculture playground. Really, it is a work in progress....and that means it is AMAZING ...AND full of opportunity. I have spent the last 5 weeks on two acres of this playground. It is a parcel of permaculture that is full of food, diversity, texture and intrigue.
Soon to come will be information on "experimental" packages, vacation packages and event opportunities that I am making available over the next 3 months!

While vacations, rentals and events will be ONGOING here on Wheaton Labs, these special opportunities will be first come, first served. And you Steemians will get first shot. Payments can be made in Crypto or in cash. And most packages will have 1 "early bird" offer for the first confirmation and deposit before August 1st.

I didn't read that whole post to see if everything is up to date, but that certainly is the site! There is a huge amount of info available about wheaton labs at permies.com. Some of it is outdated...it is kinda a running blog/log.

My "dude" might have an interest in this. He always wanted to get his own land and produce organic food/medicine. What would he have to do to get on board with this thing?

So these opportunities are either education or vacation...or something in the middle.
If he wants to come for 1 or 2 or 3 years and "play" on one acre...there is a program for that. It cost $1000 per year. It means living in the mountains through the cold winter.. And some of the plots available have no house or anything. Others have basic structures. You build yourself.
So what would he be more interested in?
I think that is something he would be interested in as soon as he has the financial means to do so. When that will be, I cannot really say. I take it this is an ongoing program? If that is the case this might be something he can do within the next year.
There are always programs going on, but these package specials will only be for the next 3 months.
Yes, he is in the USA. He should be in Oregon before too long. He is supposed to get ahold of me when he gets out there so i will keep you posted.
