Thanks, was led here by a resteem by an existing MAP member, @goldendawne. Interesting articles. Much of Thailand remains agrarian, so not so hard to live off-grid, however, there is also considerable agri-pollution and plastic-burning in most villages.

Thanks @accelerator - We're on the look out for offgrid, outdoors, or sustainable living posts to promote. Plastics can be a real problem when they start to gather. Canada used to send it's collected plastics on barges to China where they would process it or something. China no longer wants the used plastics from Canada so now they are debating what to do about it. Agri-pollution is a problem in North America too. Someone I personally knew shares a property line with a over spraying gmo farmer - my friend's fruit trees near the property line died. Agri chemicals getting into the drinking water I can see as a big problem too.
