So, you move the cows from one to other place when the grass is finished in the first place. In the video, the cows did not really travel too far. You just open the gate, then they are out in new place. How long will they stay in the new place? Nice video.
Yes most of the moves are just to a new pen through a gate. We try and move them once a week. Thank you for watching
There is nothing like watching the herd enjoy the tall, fresh grass. :D They moved so calmly too, no pushing or shoving, you've got a very courteous herd, you're a lucky farmer, not all herds are like that. :D Thankfully ours is pretty good too, most of the time that is, when its time for oat all bets are off though, they jostle each other to see if anyone has more than they do then settle into their own dishes. :D Silly cattle, LOL. :D

yes the most exciting thing I saw all day. almost couldn't contain my excitement it was at such a fever level.

They look like they are pretty well trained, open the gate, move on to the new grass. That makes it easy. I would assume that eventually they have to be moved a bit further down on the farm.
New section of grass makes all the difference in the world...I bet they were happy to see that gate open.
