I just did a post about losing a goat just before you posted this. How wonderful that you were able to find a baby for Miss Rosie and she accepted it with love!! That is the amazing part of this story! Wow!!
I'm sorry to hear that. We are awaiting Molly's baby still (our Saanan doe). She will not kid until later in the spring...better weather for her. YES! Rosie loves babies...all of my Jerseys have accepted orphans without hesitation. One even tried to steal lambs from their mothers. It was too cute to watch her try to get the lambs to nurse.
