Wow...that's awesome! There is a lot of meat on a moose. Glad this one was in better shape for you! Seems like a really smart program for the state to reduce waste when it comes to accidental death of large game animals. Wish more of the states would Implement this type of program, could help a lot of families through hard times!
It’s kinda run by the state, the troopers salvage list is anyways, the person we call to get the moose isn’t. It use to be, until our govener started to fund useless and frivolous things. But I don’t want to talk politics👎
The Alaskan Moose Federation offers their services for a reasonable price.
The deer in the states get hit so hard that they explode internally. Knew someone from Alaska who went State side and tried the program. They said it was pointless and a shame.
