ALLOTMENT SHOW 2020

I managed to get down and get the shed tidied up. One of the Fence posts had been snapped in the wind so I replaced it and secured the fence.

It’s one of my favourite things to do, lifting the forced pot to reveal the Rhubarb and the crowns are in full swing!! I’ve got a few short sticks developing already. I also made a start tidying up the Strawberry patch.

I’m trying two varieties this year - Sharpes Express seed Potatoes are one of JBA's exclusive heritage Potatoes. First added to the National Potato Variety List in 1901, Sharpes Express have been going strong ever since.

Maincrop - Amour seed Potatoes are now back on the market thanks to the use of minituber technology, and are exclusive to JBA.

It is the belief of many that NVS Armour is the ultimate show-bench Potato variety.
