WE'VE FINALLY PLANTED OUR FIRST BLUEBERRIES!!!
This is going to be so delicious!
For a couple of months now, we've actually been getting some payouts from YouTube. The goal was to put some of it to good use in tangible things that can be used to feed our family for years to come. After our first payout, we bought a variety of fruit trees, which we share about in this video.
With our second YouTube payout it was back to purchasing food bearing plants, and Blueberries were on our list, so we finally got the first couple planted.
BLUEBERRIES ARE NOW PLANTED!
On our property we are crafting things as we go and working various perennials into the landscape as we have opportunity. We've done some planning ahead of time, but other things we kind of make up as we go. Of course perennials are more permanent plants, so they'll be there for a while and it's important to place them in good locations. The first couple blueberry plants will be on either side of a rock path leading up to our poultry pens. Here's a few photos of the Little-Peppers checking out our new blueberry bushes.

Looks like you have some fencing around the plants, which is good. The one time I tried to grow blue berries the rabbits gnawed the half dozen plants to the ground. I never tried again. Best of luck with yours.

Yes! Love the blueberries and I'm so glad you're able to fund the projects with money you earn from YouTube!
