So first i get my oil going on stove to get hot.
As the oil heats i get four and seasoning mix together. Today i was bummed out i have no Cajun. Anyways add whatever you want to taste.
Then get the freshest egg you can. Hopefully your backyard. Mix it up and put tomatoe then cover with flour. Tip : use one hand for wet and one hand for dry.

It was the first time that I have heard of fried tomatoes. Thanks for the post.

They are so good and easy to make. You should try them for sure. Thank you

inspire my taste, it must be very tasty, I have never eaten it.

Thank you.

Thank you and yes so good

Wow, this is unusual! But I do not even know where to find the green tomatoes ..

Grow your own tomatoes and pull before there red. Thats green tomatoes.

Honestly, there is a species of tomatoes that are green when ripe. Just wanted to toss that out there

I was just being funny

@rockybrookfarm Man, This looks delicious. It took me back to Nepal where we used to dry the green tomatoes out in the sun. We used those dried tomatoes to make pickles. This is also worth a try.

That sounds amazing i will definitely try. Thank you.

Oh my God, these are so good on a piece of rye bread with a little mayonnaise spread on it! so good with a pile of chilled cucumbers and a tall glass of lemonade

Wow that all sounds so good thanks for the great ideas.

I would try one of those! I do mushrooms, zucchini and cauliflower this way, and are very tasty !

Thats great i will be try all those thank you.

Brother, that looks damn good! I am going to have to try and make them once i get back.

They are real good. Did you leave already

A few days until i do

Thanks for the walk down memory lane. Just a note, tomatoes must be quite firm to hold up to frying. Ripe tomatoes of any color will be mush if you attempt to fry them. YUM!

You very correct red tomatoes mush bad if they are fried.

Looks delicious! I grew my first successful batch of tomatoes myself this year, and I've been making fried green tomatoes and tomato sandwiches these past few weeks :) They just taste better home grown!

Great job on the harvest. They taste better and make you feel good about growing it yourself. Thanks and keep up the great work. @rockybrookfarm

wow , great post
