I think the wood chip idea could work very well. It will be great if you update later on how it is coming along and if it works.
I see more and more people using wood chips and it looks like a good idea as it holds the moisture, with is something you can take advantage of. It's a very useful and educational video as I don't know much of wood chips. We used a special foil this year to stop weed growing, which is working well but I believe there are areas where wood chips would be great. I'm going to dig deep into this as I'm interested. It can make your life much easier. Thanks for sharing the video, I really appreciate it.
