Maybe you are busy creating work for a competition or practicing to join a piano competition.
Or you may be concentrating on planning a new product.

It is better if those special occasions are not really special and it is just enough if you can do your best.
Unfortunately, most of the time, those special occasions are special.
You may need to create a work which is favored by the judges or which looks good to most people.
You may need to practice technical compositions which you may not like for the piano competition.
You may generally do supportive tasks, and not used to creating ideas for the new product, hence planning a new product may be tough for you.

It is a special occasion, and maybe you should make most out of it.
You should set a goal, so you create something which looks good on the competitions as well as you like.
Then maybe you can stretch yourself even more by joining the competitions.

Or maybe you are too busy with those special occasions, and forget to practice daily missions.
I believe what you want is more than win the competitions.
Do not forget the true goal you set.

ひょっとしたら、コンペに応募する作品作りで忙しいのかもしれない。
コンクールに参加するため練習にいそしんでいるのかもしれない。
任された企画をなんとか良いものにしようと腐心しているのかもしれない。

そういう特別な機会のための作品作りだったり、練習だったり、仕事だったりは、日頃の修練の延長上にあればよいのだけど。
そうではないのが、今の状況なのかもしれない。
コンペに応募するのであれば、審査員の好みを考慮したりだとか、見栄えのする作品に仕上げなければならないし。
コンクールに参加するための練習というのは、例えばピアノだったら、聴き映えのする派手な曲ばかり練習しなければいけないかもしれないし。
企画でいえば、日頃はサポート的な実務ばかりで、アイデアだしというのは経験がなく、なかなか難しいのかもしれない。

せっかくの特別な機会なわけだし。
この機会限りのものにするのではなく。
コンペ・コンクールの審査員受けの良いものと、あなたが日頃演奏したいと思ってる・日頃作りたいと思ってるもの、両方の条件を満たすものを目指すといいのではないかなと思う。
そうすると、より大きく成長できるのではないかなと思う。

もしくは、そういう特別な機会に気をとられて、日頃の習慣がおろそかになっているのかもしれない。
本来の目標を忘れないようにしてね。
