How to set and use MP3 as ringtone on a Samsung Galaxy (Android 8)

This tutorial video will show you step by step how to set and use MP3 as ringtone on a Samsung Galaxy running Android 8.

This tutorial works for all Samsung Galaxy phones with Android 8 (Oreo), such as the Samsung Galaxy S7, S7 Edge, S8, S8 Edge, S8 Plus, Note 8, S9, S9 Plus, Note 9, A7, A8, A9, J7 Pro, and all other Samsung phones with Android 8.

  1. Open 'Settings'.
  2. Tap on 'Sounds and vibration'.
  3. Tap on 'Ringtone'.
  4. If you have the option for two SIM cards then tap on the SIM card for which you want to set and use an MP3 track (song or clip) as ringtone.
  5. Tap on 'ADD' located in the top-right-corner of your phone's screen.
  6. Tap on the MP3 audio track you want to set and use as your new ringtone.
  7. You can turn off the 'Highlights only' option located in the bottom-right-corner of your phone's screen.
  8. Tap on 'DONE' located in the top-right-corner of your phone's screen.

The MP3 audio track is now set as your new ringtone.
