How to with @poeticsnake

Today I would like to show you how to make a fun and easy wet in wet painting!

What you need for this project:

*A canvas board in the size you like to work with!
*3 brushes, one big, one medium and one as small as you can get! ( The big to add water, the medium to mix and the small one to draw lines)
*Acrylic paint in two colors ( Black and red for this one)
*2 cups, plastic containers for the mixing of the paint! ( You need walls for this, so a plate won't work,)
*Water, A whole lot of water!

This is not a very cheap way of using your paint! Just a heads up for that! To create enough thin paint for the base you will have to use a lot of paint! I used 4 of these red plastic cups to fill my canvas!
Start by putting the paint in the cup and start to slowly add water. Keep mixing so you won't end up with lumps. The paint needs to be super thin and it needs to run!

Cover the whole canvas in a thick layer of the paint! It really does not matter when it runs over the side! Just make sure you have enough paint on it to work with!

Now it's time to mix your second color! Don't worry about the first layer, it won't dry up while you mix! The paint I am using starts drying after about 45 minutes so you have time to mix the next one or to eat a cookie, or make some nice tea!

After mixing the second color you just drizzle the paint over the canvas in the shape you like. Or you just splash it down, what ever makes you happy! :D
This will cause the red paint to start walking again and that is what you want!

I made one cup with black paint for this!

Now you are going to use the smallest brush you can find! If you don't have a small brush like on the picture you can also use a toothpick or pencil point!

( Not the best picture, I know)
Put your brush down into the black paint!

After pushing the brush down in the paint you simply push the brush away and pull the paint with you to where you want it to be!
Keep repeating this for the whole painting BUT.... Clean your brush after a few pulls!
If you don't clean your brush you will get bumpy lines and you don't want that for this!

Pull lines where ever you feel a line wants to be!

You can't go wrong with this! It will look cool no matter what!
Just let your mind go free and just pull the paint around on the canvas!

Make a mess, who cares! Just enjoy the progress!

Stop when you feel you are done! And Tadaaaaa you have created a wet in wet painting that will look good on every wall!

Now all you have to do is wait! And with wait, I mean wait a very long time! The paint will start to dry after about an hour but.... It might take up to two or three days to be fully dry! So, make sure you make your painting on a place you can let it dry for that long!

The paint will dry up matte!
So after a few days you can make the choice to cover the painting with some shiny gloss paint!

I think I will call mine the creepy catarpillar!
