RE: Should I use the word 'Raw yolk' or 'Yolk' is already raw itself ? LOLOL

in #ice-cream6 years ago

I’d recommend using Raw Yolk. Just using the word yolk could mean the yolk is in any form.

As an example, if you order a fried egg, the waiter/waitress will ask you “how do you want it?” They are referring to the yolk. (You have already specified you want a fried egg). The answer they are looking for is one of :

  • Sunny side up = egg fried on one side, yolk raw
  • Over easy = egg fried on both sides, yolk is raw but warm
  • Over medium = egg fried on both sides, yolk is gelatinous
  • Over hard = egg fried on both sides, yolk is hard

I enjoyed your post.
