GOeureka: The future of online travel booking
We all like to travel and of course use the online booking services, they are very convenient, but when you use them you have to pay an additional fee. The GOeureka project proposes to transfer the booking system to a decentralized platform using blockchain technology to exclude intermediaries, directly connecting hotels and their customers.
With this scheme, both sides benefit: hotels will not have to pay part of their profits to online travel agencies (OTA) for accommodation on their sites, and travelers will not have to pay a Commission to intermediaries. Hotels will be able to quickly change the information on the platform, and tourists will be able to change their choice to a more acceptable or more advantageous.
To simplify the payment for services on the platform, GO token will be used, payment by fiat will also be possible, but with a commission, and when using tokens, discounts will be provided. This will stimulate users to use the token and as a result the demand for it will grow. The platform provides a loyalty system that allows you to get even more discounts. In the future, the possibility of booking flights and car rental will be added.
The company already has a minimum viable product (MVP) in the form of a demo version of the mobile application and web interface, which you can find on the official website.
