Smart Containers CrowdFunding is now Live! Check their website to participate.

Smart Containers, the parent company for the Food Guardian and Skycell, recently launched their ICO and just opened their CrowdFunding Event!

SMARC and LOGI tokens are up for grabs in the crowdsale until the 30th of June. Any investor can join the ICO with a minimum funding of USD 500 equivalent in ETH or BTC.

As an added bonus, the crowdfunding event will include a Referral Program for all its participants. This is their way of giving back to its community from all the amazing success of the Pre-ICO.

Crowdsale Referral Program: How Does it Work?

Upon registration and investing through Smart Container’s website, you can access the referral program link from your personal dashboard.

A personalized URL will be assigned to you, of which, you can send this link to everyone who wants to join the community.

Invited referrals who will invest in the crowdsale through your link will automatically be counted as your referral. And at the same time, these referrals will earn 15% from a bonus level by simple using your URL.

Bonus levels are as follows:

20% Bonus Level = 5 referrals
25% Bonus Level = 10 referrals

All referrals will be visible on your dashboard along with the calculated tokens you’ve earned.

ICO Milestones

This is just to give you an overview on how the Pre-ICO went – and it ended pretty neat.

Pre-Sale just ended a few days ago, last June 7. The event was able to raise USD 12.75M for the SMARC tokens and USD 1M for the LOGI tokens. Then, all the remaining tokens have been transitioned over to the crowd sale.

As mentioned on my initial review, Smart Containers is a Swiss-based technology team that aims to disrupt the traditional process of logistics companies by incorporating the blockchain technology to its infrastructure.

Through this transition to blockchain, Smart containers will be enabled to provide its community with a more efficient, cost-effective and decentralized logistics system – the LOGI Chain ecosystem.

With the LOGI Chain ecosystem in place, the gruesome number of documents and the endless email exchanges needed to process a single shipment will no longer exist. This system will also make way for automatic billing through smart contracts.

How will the system become more efficient and cost-effective with LOGI Chain?

To make the process less complex, each logistics unit will be available as a virtual chip in the blockchain system. And the all details in these virtual chips will be made available for all contractors, forwarders, customs officers and all other related parties. All parties will also have the ability to link all required documents to these virtual chips to complete the processes needed. And to ensure security, these documents will either be stored in the public or private blockchain depending on the sensitivity of data.

With this total overhaul that Smart Containers have planned – shipping delays, high costs and CO2 will definitely be reduced.

The Verdict

Smart Container has gone a long way since they launched their Pre-ICO. The numbers they have now, whether be it on the funds they raised and in building their community, we can all agree that it’s dramatically progressing. Basing it on what the team has accomplished so far, we can see that this team has a positive trend in investors. If Smart Containers stays true to their goals, funding through their ICO offering will likely be a success.
