Soundeon - Music Decentralised
The Music industry changed the way it was seen ever since it was digitised. It allowed for much easier, faster and wider reach for the Artist. The way it was done before was by physically sharing or selling individual copies to all those who brought.
But the digital record that came about were not flawless and they to faced the piracy problems that the physical copies faced. While the physical copies had the issues of underground community of pirates reproducing the copies illegally, the Internet and the digital records compounded the issues by the way it made it a lot more easier and simpler to copy and share a particular piece of content.
At first the vinyl records very somewhat of a luxury and that meant the audience and market for it was niche and not everyone could afford it. This meant that were less number of people out there who catered to them. Then came about Digital age and disks, with them being easily affordable by the general population allowed for the masses to be able to get their hands on music for the first time.
This meant that the audience and the market was high and thus came about a huge group of content pirates who catered to this audience by providing cheap and illegal copies of copyrighted songs. Then came about Torrents and then the rest is history.
There's always been piracy, and will always be there since there's going to be someone or the other who attempts to make free or illegal copies of copyrighted or IPs, as there's always going to be a crowd to buy it. There's two simple ways to solve this problem, either make the living conditions of all humans on the face of Earth the same or implement much better technologies to prevent piracy.
While the former is somewhat of a utopian ideal that we may, or may not reach, while the latter is somewhat of a feasible possibility and we can easily make that happen.
Soundeon Platform
They aim on solving the above mentioned problems by creating a platform based on Blockchain that'll allow for its users to be able to share, listen, buy and publish music using it. This solves most of the issues that we saw above along with bringing about much more.
This makes the platform much more decentralised, allowing for the power of say on the pricing and the other rules to fall in the hands of the artists and not in the hands of a few record labels or brands or publishing houses. This in itself makes the platform much more favourable to the artists, but the advantages doesn't stop there. The platform, being powered by Blockchain means that it is much more secure, transparent, flexible and scalable than what the current technologies offer.
ICO & Team
They plan on powering their platform by introducing the Soundeon () Token which is based on Ethereum's ERC-20 Token standard. Their Pre-Sale is currently in progress with them offering periodic decremental bonuses. They plan on holding their Main-Sale on 30 September and it requires for you to be Registered, Whitelisted and KYC Verified in order to be able to participate in the ICO.

Conclusion
They plan on making the most pirated field of the Content World piracy free and via implementing the Blockchain to act as it's platform. Though they are going head to head with the industry heavyweights as well as many other players in the Blockchain field, they have a chance at it if they can implement all their ideas properly.
