Today's subject of the survey will be XYO Network (also called its creators XY Oracle Network) - a project that focuses on creating a worldwide geolocation network (location) of physical objects. It is based on the concept of "Confirmation of location" / "Proven location", taking its history from the 1960s.

The essence of the project
According to the idea of the creators, there are many practical cases where it is necessary to have information about the location of physical objects (whether live or inanimate objects), and to track their location and check it.
To do this, a decentralized network of "transmitter" devices, "receiver" devices (Sentinels-projectors in terms of the project) and auxiliary devices for broadcasting, indexing, archiving, storing and accessing information will be used. All received information will be saved using the block-record (XYOMainChain).
As the devices-transmitters can act: conventional devices containing modules GPS, GSM, Bluetooth, WiFi, various network devices transmitting information about their physical location, IoT devices and others. With the help of these numerous devices, it is possible to determine their location and perform mutual reconciliation / adjustment.
Unlike many projects, XYO Network has already prepared a network consisting of more than 1,000,000 receiver devices (300,000 of which are already ready for use).
In addition to the hardware, the XYO Network includes a software package that provides all operations and is compatible with the use of external software development (API), with the use of blocking technologies Ethereum, EOS, NEO, Stellar and others.

Variants of practical application of technology

On closer examination, it turns out that the platform not only has many practical applications, it is extremely in demand by mankind and it is surprising how no one has done anything like this before.
The first direction of application, most obvious, is the location (search) of various physical objects: whether it's a smartphone or a rarely used gadget. After the device is turned on in the XYO Network, the network will store information about the location of the object or the location of the last signal received from it, with an accuracy that sometimes reaches several millimeters.
The second option, which is already partially used, is the tracking of physical objects being moved and comparing it with the expected. This can be public transport (it is convenient to know where exactly the nearest bus is located), the shipment sent, transport of couriers delivering orders, etc. With the help of technology, it is possible to realize automatic fines for machines that have exceeded the speed and much more.
Thirdly, this technology can be useful when checking the location of an object. So a person leaving a tip about a cafe in Paris, when included in the XYO Network, can be checked for a real stay in this cafe, and not, for example, in his village in Africa (fighting fake reviews).
In addition, you can come up with many more options for using this platform in various fields (medicine, logistics, trade, etc.)

ICO XYO Network
The ICO of the XYO Network project was launched on March 20, 2018 and should last until May 20, 2018, if all project tokens are not redeemed earlier.
