I think you all have right in your exam about smallest river island, yes I am talking about Umananda...it is in my state Assam, India

Umananda Island (from Assamese Uma, another name for the Hindu goddess Parvati, the wife of Shiva; and ananda, "happiness") is the smallest river island in the midst of river Brahmaputra flowing through the city of Guwahati in Assam, a state in northeast India. The British named the island Peacock Island for its shape...

I have visited two times this place in last one month. The place gives me pleasure..its a place with natural beauty.
You have to go there by ferry or govt boat..when you are on the heart of mighty Brahmaputra then a cool wind hits you and give you an extra pleasure.
1st my visit to this beauty with my friend @abhi108 then I made my 2nd visit with my a few childhood friends.
Umananda temple is the centre of attraction to this place..
If you want to visit then you have to come Guwahati, Assam and then you can make boat trip to Umananda.
