An approach such as this tackles the problem of consistent payouts. For smaller content producers, you are either lucky enough to get noticed by a whale or curation team, or you don't get income period. It's very disheartening when everything you produce is essentially a dice roll - sometimes your best work passes by unnoticed or work you don't care about becomes popular thanks to a single vote giving it exposure. Consistently fair payouts backed by a large service such as yourself would solve that issue entirely.
