Lol landlines were the best back in the day until the phone bill came home and your parents would beat you, or was that just me?

My fondest memory of a landline is connecting to the internet with a 56k modem and it makes this loud ass dial tone like the entire house would know you're about to connect to the internet

In terms of advantages landlines are still far superior when it comes to doing conference calls with multiple people dailing in on one call
