Happy Ganesh Chaturthi

In India 2 days back we have celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi, as I was busy I could not post about it.

Ganesh Chaturthi which is also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi is our festival where we celebrate the birth of Lord Ganesha. It is usually a 10 day festival, and normally falls on the month od August or September.

On the tenth day, the Ganesha idol is carried in a public procession and then immersed in a nearby water body.

Though we do not keep the idol in the home, but we do celebrate in our nearby temple. Few glimpses
