Indian Universities Using "Blockchain" To Increase Enrolment In Courses?
It seems as though some universities in India are using Blockchain, AI and IOT in their marketing campaigns to increase enrolment in their courses. It wouldn't surprising to see more specialised courses on blockchain technology being integrated into the curriculum in some institutions in India in the new few years.
There is a growing demand for blockchain technology experts in India. If the Indian government regulates cryptocurrencies then the blockchain technology sector is likely to grow.
Indian software programmers are already working for many existing blockchain technologies. If we were to look at the banking sector alone, Bank Chain was formed earlier this year with 30 participating members from all major banks in the country for exploring, building and implementing blockchain solutions. Participating member banks have agreed to share technology and resources towards this initiative.
There's a lot of interest in this domain in India. Unocoin recently wrote on their blog about new blockchain centric jobs in the making. Infact last year YourStory reported that John Mcafee and Kohli Brothers all set to launch India’s biggest blockchain company.
If you work in the IT sector in India or SE Asian countries, have you observed the changing trends and attitude towards blockchain technology in your respective IT companies?
Inclusion of blockchain technology development principles at the college level will prompt many aspiring students to become blockchain developers in the future. This can only mean that the technology is not just here to stay but has a bright future!
RBI is currently stifling growth in this space currently but some groups are fighting them in the Supreme Court of India. Hopefully we can look back at all these in a year from now and see how far we've come in our country.

There is no doubt in it. In which other part of the world can we see students not being allowed to use mobile phones in technical universities!? Indian mindset is like that!
