Did India ban Cryptocurrencies?

in #india6 years ago (edited)

It has been a tumultuous month for cryptocurrencies across the globe. There are various reasons for that but one of the main reasons is the mainstream media.

Nowadays, people are believing whatever the media is publishing.
Media is also using that opportunity to implant the things in people.
This is very bad.

Recently, they said India had banned Cryptocurrencies.
But, India didn't ban cryptocurrencies. Instead, the Indian government is exploring the blockchain technology.
They said that they would explore and bring the blockchain technology for making Digital India. That's actually very good.
They also said that they won't encourage Cryptocurrencies.
The blockchain is not worth without cryptocurrencies. We hope they will realize that in the near future.

Zebpay is one of the best Cryptocurrency trading brokers in India.
Sandeep Goenka, co-founder of Zebpay and head of the newly formed fintech council said, “The current government is open-minded and this is a welcome change for those developing revolutionary technology. The ideal way to strengthen the system is by using approved banking channels to onboard new customers and legitimize Bitcoin trading. The largest Bitcoin exchanges in India are already implementing these measures, and they should be standard practice.”
