First time in the history of humankind now we are able to picture a real blackhole!

As I hope you all know by now, a couple days back scientists had released a picture which will serve as a strong evidence for the existence of blackhole alongside many other theories put forth by scientists all across the world for decades now! In fact it left me awestruck to be able to witness the historic moment just seconds after its happening. The programme was being live streamed in almost all social media platforms. As I had just finished re-reading stephen hawking's book 'A brief history of time', I was fortunately able to understand a large chunk of concepts that were being explained in the venue.

The big barrier in obtaining the image of blackhole was the difficuily of us in developing an earth-sized telescope which was very much crucial in the process. scientists overcame this issue by establishing a nexus of telescopes in eight various places all across the globe. This set up served as one big earth sized telescope that the enormous datas obtained from them intun processed by powerful computers to break down into the picture that you see above.

I happened to consume a lot of comments written by people under the articles on social medias carrying this news. It really saddened me to realize that a large majority of people are still being ignorant about the importance of this historical event. Many try to spread out hatredness without having even the basic understanding of how tedious task the people working behind this had to go through all these years. I feel pity on them.

Whatever the level of ignorance among people maybe, it is an undeniable fact that this day has already been entrenched in the book that carries only great things. I wish we will soon be able to discover many things that are awaiting to be proved, atleast in our lifetime.
