To Publish or to Perish: That’s the Question!

Today was held workshop with Dr. Massoud Moslehpour, Assistant Professor at Department of Business Administration Asia University, Taiwan. This workshop organized by Department of Economic Development, Syiah Kuala University.
He talked about research publication: to publish or to perish. In his presentation, there are many tips on how to publish an article into journal or proceeding. He said that while your publish an article make sure that you are familiar with editorial board and their publication and know about the journal aims and goals.

Next, the important thing that while you make draft of article: write a draft of paper in whatever English you have. Don’t worry too much about grammar and look at how the article are written in the journal. Furthermore, before you submitting an article, make approach the editor, perhaps someone on the editorial board whom you might know to giving an opinion of your research.

Lastly, improving our English skill is reading and writing. Give 2-3 days a week for reading and writing activities, it takes 1-2 hours. Write your idea and publish it.
