Conservation Responce Unit (CRU) Sampoiniet, Aceh Jaya adalah salah satu pusat konservasi Gajah yang ada di Provinsi Aceh. Di CRU ini gajah-gajah dilatih oleh beberapa orang pelatih yang disebut dengan Mahout atau dalam bahasa Indonesia disebut Pawang.
Ada empat ekor Gajah di CRU Sampoiniet yang telah dijinakkan oleh pawang atau mahout. Setiap Gajah dikendalikan oleh satu orang Mahout. Ke empat ekor gajah ini terlihat sangat jinak dan bisa berinteraksi dengan pengunjung dengan arahan pawang.
Selain sebagai pusat konservasi Gajah, CRU Sampoiniet juga dijadikan sebagai tempat wisata berbasis Konservasi alam. Di sini, para pengunjung bisa belajar banyak hal tentang Gajah. Para wisatawan juga bisa menikmati pemandangan alam sambil bermain dengan Gajah yang telah dilatih tersebut.

Bila ingin memandikan gajah, maka datanglah pada jadwal yang telah ditetapkan tersebut, supaya bisa menikmati bagaimana serunya berwisata sambil memandikan Gajah.

Sampoiniet Conservation Response Unit (CRU), Aceh Jaya is one of the Elephant conservation centers in Aceh Province. At these CRU, elephants are trained by some coaches called Mahout or in Indonesian called Pawang.
There are four Elephants in Sampoiniet CRU that have been tamed by the handler or mahout. Each Elephant is controlled by one Mahout. The four elephants look very tame and can interact with visitors with the handler's direction.
