School Health Business / Usaha Kesehatan Sekolah (UKS)
UKS is a school health business, meaning that schools make a special room to overcome health problems in which there are small doctors, medicines and medical equipment such as tensimeters, stretchers, beds and others.
UKS adalah Usaha Kesehatan sekolah, maksudnya sekolah membuat sebuah ruang khusus untuk mengatasi masalah kesehatan yang didalamnya ada dokter kecil, obat obatan dan peralatan medis seperti tensimeter, tandu, tempat tidur dan lain-lain.

ada beberapa prosedure yang harus dilaksanakan dalam menangani pasien yang sakit, misalnya harus isi formulir kemudian langsung diperiksa dan diberikan obat, jika pasien memiliki penyakit yang khusus, maka langsung di beritahukan orang tuanya untuk di bawa ke Rumah Sakit atau dibawa pulang, karena UKS tidak boleh sembarangan memberi obat, takut ada efek dengan penyakit yang diderita oleh pasien.

contoh kasus yang ditangani oleh tim UKS adalah siswa pingsan karena mengikuti upacara bendera hari senin. atau ketika belajar ada siswa yang sakit perut/demam/diare dan lain lain.
Other efforts that schools make to maintain the health of students is to make a place to wash their hands in some strategic places, for example in the cafeteria or in front of the class. so that students can wash their hands before eating, and avoid germs and diseases.
Usaha lain yang sekolah buat untuk menjaga kesehatan siswa yaitu membuat tempat cuci tangan di beberapa tempat yang strategis, misalnya dikantin atau di depan kelas. agar siswa bisa mencuci tangan sebelum makan, dan terhindar dari kuman dan penyakit.
The government should provide a general practitioner in every school in Indonesia. like in some overseas schools, which have health clinics managed by a general practitioner. so that any illnesses suffered by students or teachers can be overcome directly. and doctors can also make health programs for students / teachers in schools, such as healthy exercise, heart exercises, general lectures on health etc.
Pemerintah seharusnya menyediakan seorang dokter umum disetiap sekolah yang ada di Indonesia. seperti di beberapa sekolah di luar negeri, yang memiliki klinik kesehatan yang dikelola oleh seorang dokter umum. sehingga apapun penyakit yang diderita oleh siswa ataupun guru bisa teratasi langsung. dan dokter pun bisa membuat program kesehatan bagi siswa/guru disekolah, seperti senam sehat, senam jantung, kuliah umum tentang kesehatan dll.
