Private Television Owners Association or Atco's Senior Vice President and Ektter TV's Managing Director Mozammel Haque said that the TV channels of Bangladesh are currently using a foreign satellite called Apster Seven.

He said, after paying foreign satellite fare, every television station in Bangladesh spent 24 thousand dollars a month. As a result, the total cost of each television channel is $ 15 million per month for foreign satellite rentals
