It is alarming that the powerful entities that make these negative advances toward self-destruction have either no spiritual discernment or are deliberately working toward elimination of God's image: us.
Amen to that Brother... this bothers me but not nearly as much as AI... Trying to make machines in the image of man and making us irrelevant in the process. There is no such thing as artificial intelligence because you can never design a machine to have imagination.
Hmmm - I suggest reading the book by Hugo de Garis Artilects, available on his website.
I also screen his presentation from time to time on the subject. Fascinating.
De Garis is not a Christian, but he spoke at True Legends 2018 in Branson MO.
My view is this:
These things may not ever have a soul - but those entities that control the machines have intelligence, though they may have sold their soul to the devil thus literally demonically possessing the machines. Sounds crazy, doesn't it? Yet entirely conceivable in my humble view.
I don't believe they have souls, yet they belong to the devil. They have intelligence without having imagination- they can mimic like a machine does, but not create. Which, by the way, Satan can't... he can only mimic God in a twisted opposite sort of way. This is why these entities and Satan himself hate mankind- they envy our creativity.
I've often wondered that myself. Why does satan hate us so? What is really happening in the world doesn't make any sense unless you view it from the perspective of extreme hate. The kind of hate that satan has for all of God's creation, especially mankind. You may be right, because of our creativity. I think that there is also another major factor, which is that satan hates God, but because he cannot do anything to God, he tries to destroy, torture and enslave anything that God has created, and especially anything that is dear to God. Us.
Satan was second in command in Heaven.
When God created man In His Image, Satan felt let down, guided by pride. The Shining One could not understand that the Creator formed human beings from dirt (carbon) in His image, to love us and spend eternity with us. Satan went ballistic and set out to destroy humanity to prove God wrong. Satan and his minions have only one goal: To destroy and kill us.
The conspiracy, the seemingly universal lies and hating globalists and their slaves, feed on one spiritual force: that of their father, Satan.
How painful it must be for our Father, for our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, and for the Holy Spirit that so many reject His love.

What @globocop said hit the nail on the head. Also Satan has no imagination, like the archons. Satan can only mimic what God does, he doesn't have the power to create. Besides hubris he suffers from envy... God put us above the angels.
