Military Industrial Complex develops Corpse Eating Automatons - Yes AI Robots that eat people for fuel.

You are reading the headline right, I wish it were not so but this is where we are at.

A company by the name of Research Technology has in the works a project they are calling "Energetically Autonomous Tactical Robot", or EATR, for fun around the office I assume. It is as if they want people like us to be nervous about what they're up to.

Of course I should be fair the manufactures of the EATR engine, Cyclone Engine, they say the power source is only to consume innate organic matter, think twigs and leaves. They do admit however it can process other living things and organic matter is organic matter so the engine can consume flesh of all kinds. Considering this is, at the end of the day, a DARPA, Defense Advanced Projects Agency funded endeavor I think they have more plans for this robot than mere gardening.

This, like most highly advanced technologies, is going to get real weird real quick. Imagine millions of AI robots that can think for themselves and now eat to survive. How long will it be until they need jobs to buy food and join co-op insurance programs to stay ahead of their own maintenance schedules? Are we going to be able to own one or just the government? What will we do to a robot that is deployed to clean up a battle zone after the fight ends and we find it "snacking" on a fallen soldier? I'm not sure telling it that desecration of the dead is a war crime under Article 15 of the Geneva Conventions is the solution there, just saying, that's not a great thing for humanity.

If history tells us anything it is one thing, never trust the warmonger. What will the Pentagon do with a silent army of servants that can do their dirty work in secret? How much easier will this make covering up false flag attacks now that we have machines that can literally eat the evidence of misdeeds. I think it is only a matter of time until one of the world powers does something so savage and egregious that breaking article 15 seems like much less of a crime to get caught committing.

My biggest flaw in this is that I can't think like the monsters who have their finger on the trigger so to speak, so I can't predict what atrocity these new machines will be used in but will say watch out for them. When they're used to clean up a scene, I would wager anything it will be a crime scene.
