Venezuela Does Not have Water: My Community Will Not have 30 Days
These publications do not seek to pity or speak badly of Venezuela, I want to share with anyone who is interested and concerned about what is happening in Venezuela and to be able to bring you this information that will give you a clearer perspective of what it means to be Venezuelan and how people live in a country in crisis.
In Venezuela the issue of water supply is almost a nightmare, where communities throughout the country have problems with access to water, and this is very common in the poorest neighborhoods of Venezuela and in some middle class communities.
In this opportunity I touch the community where I am visiting at this time, at my grandparents' house, which I come to visit every 3 months since they live 15 hours from my city.
Arriving, I found the news that the community would be without access to water for approximately 30 days, since they are presenting problems with the electric plant that maintains the circulation of water to the entire community.
I was talking with some neighbors and they told me that this plant is about 12 years old and they have never done any maintenance and for that reason the water system is affected almost every month, a woman who 15 days ago burned the plant told me. and that they could not repair it, they just left it that way and had to go to the neighboring city in search of water.
This situation I have lived in my city where we have been without water for at least 17 days, in other states or communities of Venezuela the water has not arrived for 3 months and this is getting worse, electricity is also affecting the cities of Venezuela and for loica the water supply, just imagine being for 3 months without water in your house.
This happens in Venezuela almost every day and is something that maybe millions of people do not know, this also brings other types of problems such as; health and sanity, because for lack of water you can not cook to wash the food you buy or have our body clean.
Every day I am more surprised by the level of misery and need in which this Venezuela, where we do not know what to do so that things improve once and for all, this water problem is something that harms millions of Venezuelans and children more small ones that always need to have drinking water.
I would like this nightmare to end once and for all and we should not have to go through this situation, but every day things get worse and who knows that other problems are about to continue destroying Venezuela.
