There will always be these types at every such situation/event. We sure had them at the bird refuge in Oregon a couple years back, and this guy fits the same bill. Well done!
They're professional activists... and there's a lot of money in it! The biggest part of the problem is they do almost as much- or sometimes even more- damage than the people they're trying to stop. One example is the Children's Defense Fund. They started all of the hysteria about the "epidemic of child abuse plaguing America." There was of course no epidemic, but they make a ton of money and are responsible for CPS tearing families apart.
It's always the fox-guarding-the-henhouse type of thing. Geesh...
