the fight to maintain personal liberties often bring out strange bedfellows. While I was high-information enough to know that TSA is PART of the DHS, unlike the Congresswoman who made the news cycle yeserday, I totally agree we should shut down the DHS...and the CIA, and the NSA, and the Senior Executive Service, and most government departments, and....
You see, as a conservative I believe BOTH in personal liberties AND in small government, where most liberals ONLY believe in the former. It's time to unite, though, wherever we can with whoever is right on individual issues. We can educate them while we link arms on the issues we agree on.

This is the kind of thing that really grinds my gears. Yea, the guy was not "fighting for democracy," or to "defend our freedoms," or anything honorable, really. BUT HE THOUGHT HE WAS, and I am not going to hold the young man responsible for the thick and pervasive propaganda he grew up with. I'm going to blame the same people who spread that CRAP, (and who also set up the TSA) as they used the HUGE LIE of 911 to justify all of it.
